Event Details

Writing consultant and author Patricia Lapidus will help you  retrieve the details that will bring your story to life.

Either in memoir or in fiction based on experience, writers tell what happened--and it's often a story that’s told later rather than sooner. Our memories are the shifting sands that hold our truths. Learn how to access and use memories to create your own strong truth story.

Bring writing materials. $5 will be collected at the door. Space is limited!

Patricia Lapidus recently received First Prize in the North Woods Short Story Contest with her story "Wild." Her novel, Gideon's River, is about a 12-year-old boy who wishes that he didn't have a temper.

This is Patricia’s 8th writing seminar at the library. Visit her blog at swampwalkingwoman.blogspot.com.
